About The Position

Family Farm and Home is seeking a Team Member to contribute to its mission of providing exceptional service, products, and prices to customers. The role supports daily store operations and customer service while helping maintain the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and merchandising standards of the store. Team Members stock and recover merchandise, process transactions and online orders, assist customers with products and services, and complete tasks assigned by store management.

Requirements

Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Clear and effective communication with customers and team members.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
Knowledge of basic computer systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods and reach, bend, twist, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Promote Family Farm and Home’s mission and family values.
Execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
Use Farm Hand to receive communications and tasks from the corporate office and store management.
Greet customers and interact with them in a pleasant, positive, and helpful manner.
Encourage customers to participate in company programs, including the loyalty program, extended warranties, add-on initiatives, financing, and Item of the Month.
Answer phone calls professionally and assist customers in the store and on supported internet sites, including processing special orders.
Use the point-of-sale system to check out customers and follow cash-handling procedures.
Use On the Go to complete planograms and mass layouts in the correct store locations.
Use Harvester to complete online customer orders.
Explain and support financing options and use current financing websites to complete customer credit inquiries.
Assist with promotional signage, price changes, clearance pricing, and other in-store signage as directed.
Assist with freight, merchandise recovery, and out-of-stock processes.
Achieve passing scores on corporate store audits, assessments, and store walks.
Monitor in-store safety issues and possible shoplifting, and communicate potential issues to store management.
Follow company loss-prevention measures.
Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and efficiently when age-eligible (18 or older).
Help build and assemble store displays, products, and fixtures.
Maintain cleanliness in the sales floor, receiving area, cash office, register area, restrooms, and break room.
Uphold merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Assist with completing the Daily Operational Standards checklist.
Contribute to a positive working environment for team members.
Perform other duties assigned by store management or company officials.
