About The Position

The Retail Team Member helps create a welcoming shopping experience by assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, and working with the team to meet sales and productivity goals. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking and displaying products, keeping the store clean and organized, answering questions about merchandise and promotions, and moving merchandise, racks, and carts. Team members also share information about the company’s charity partners and mission. The job is active and involves spending much of the day on your feet and lifting merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. On-the-job training is provided; prior retail experience is not required. Flexible scheduling is available, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a variety of positions including Monday–Friday day shifts and flexible part-time hours.

Requirements

• At least 16 years old.
• Strong customer-service orientation and enjoyment of helping people.
• Friendly, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Comfort operating a cash register and handling money.
• Able to stay active and be on your feet throughout the day.
• Able to lift merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
