About The Position

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is hiring Team Members for production, donation attendant, sales floor associate, and cashier work. Team Members support Goodwill’s mission of helping people with barriers to employment and contribute to a positive customer and donor experience. The organization offers opportunities to learn and grow through cross-training, advancement, and specialized training, including customer service training.

Production Associates price donated items according to pricing guidelines and goals, help maximize funds for Goodwill’s mission, and maintain an efficient flow of donations to support the sales floor. Donation Attendants greet and thank donors, accept donations carefully, sort incoming donations, and help keep the production area organized. Sales Floor Associates organize the sales floor, help customers find items, answer questions, and provide customer service. Cashiers build relationships with customers, accurately ring up transactions, and explain how purchases support Goodwill’s mission.

The starting rate is $15.00 per hour. Placement within the salary range depends on education, experience, internal equity, market demands, and other qualifying criteria; the posting notes that hiring near the top of the range is not typical. Certain roles may participate in an incentive plan, subject to its terms and conditions. Requirements

• One year of customer service, retail, or production experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift while maintaining a customer service mindset.
• Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds and maintain customer service standards when interacting with donors.
