About The Position

Sparrow Coffee Clarendon Hills is hiring Team Members! Our team members focus on guest services which includes but is not limited to: taking orders, bagging to-go orders, bringing food to guests, and curating the experience for all in our cafe.

Requirements

• Knowledge of health and safety rules.
• Manual dexterity, able to carry various objects, operate order terminal, operate kitchen/barista equipment.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Patient, with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Very good physical condition and endurance are a must.

• Sparrow Coffee looks to train and promote from within to barista, supervisor, and management positions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and care for customers from ordering to delivering food and beverages.
• Follow all provided guidelines for various workstations: dining room, register, expediter, kitchen, dishes, and coffee bar.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
