About The Position

Ada Bible Church is looking for a part-time Hospitality Coordinator who is passionate about delivering friendly, warm, and welcoming guest experiences for everyone who enters our doors. Hospitality is core to what we do at Ada Bible Church, and we strive to show guests they are cared for beyond just a generic welcome. We hope to show guests they can belong to a community who genuinely loves people and loves Jesus. As a Hospitality Coordinator-Coffee Team, you will organize and lead hospitality volunteers. These volunteers serve on a regular rotation to provide excellent guest experiences through relational hospitality and directing volunteers who serve on the Coffee Team. This is a part-time position offered at up to 25 hours per week and includes weekend work.

Requirements

  • Naturally lead with hospitality as you interact with others
  • Know how to create excellent guest or customer experiences
  • Enjoy leading others to accomplish goals
  • Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Organized, efficient, and attentive to details
  • Committed Christian who exhibits a thriving relationship with Jesus
  • Earned a high-school diploma or GED
  • Available to work most weekends as well as a couple days during the week
  • Willing to become a member within 90 days of hire and have beliefs consistent with Ada Bible Church's statement of faith

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and welcoming, guest-focused environment at the Cascade campus, with special attentiveness given to the first-time guest
  • Recruit, train, and develop new hospitality volunteers
  • Coach hospitality volunteer team leads as they train and mentor new volunteers
  • Manage and distribute volunteer rotations and maintain volunteer schedule
  • Ensure Coffee Team volunteers have the tools and resources necessary to carry out hospitality
  • Collaborate with Event Services and ministry teams to plan and prepare for major campus ministry events
  • Ensure all Coffee Team volunteers feel valued (praying as a team, one-on-ones, etc.)
  • Coordinate hospitality for weekend services and events held at an assigned campus and central events
  • Manage coffee bar inventory
  • Enter information into ROCK (database) or other designated management program(s)
  • Collaborate with Hospitality Director and other Coordinators to continuously share improvement ideas & effectiveness/quality of hospitality
  • Attend team meetings and all-staff meetings
  • Complete or participate in assigned projects for the advancement of the guest experience
