About The Position
Highland Park Car Wash is looking for energetic Hospitality & Tunnel Team Members who take pride in making customers’ days brighter. Team Members lead with warmth and kindness in interactions with customers and colleagues and help create a positive, upbeat environment. They greet customers enthusiastically, provide service that exceeds expectations, and help customers have fun and leave the carwash feeling pride and renewal. Team Members are encouraged to find ways to make each customer’s day. The Hospitality role includes greeting and checking in guests, operating the point of sale, selling carwashes, memberships, and merchandise, explaining service options, visually inspecting vehicles, maintaining a safe environment, and completing facility checklists. The Tunnel role includes scrubbing and pre-washing vehicles, inspecting them, guiding them onto the conveyor, ensuring customers follow conveyor safety instructions, addressing customer concerns professionally, sharing information about packages and memberships, and completing cleaning checklists. The position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to respond to customer preferences, availability for a varied and flexible schedule to meet business needs, and the ability to work outdoors on one’s feet for several hours at a time. Both full-time and part-time employees are sought.

Responsibilities
- Work the point of sale.
- Greet and check in carwash guests.
- Sell carwashes, memberships, and merchandise to customers.
- Explain the differences between offerings to customers.
- Visually inspect cars before they enter the carwash.
- Remain attentive and maintain a safe environment for customers and coworkers.
- Complete daily checklists to keep the facility clean and organized.
- Scrub and pre-wash cars before they enter the carwash tunnel.
- Guide cars onto the carwash conveyor.
- Ensure customers put their cars in neutral, turn off windshield wipers, take their foot off the brake, and take their hands off the steering wheel once the car is on the conveyor.
- Address customer concerns politely and professionally.
- Give customers information about carwash packages and club memberships.
- Complete daily checklists to keep the carwash facility clean.
