Team Member - Clean Express Auto Wash
About The Position
As a Team Member at Clean Express Auto Wash, you will provide exceptional customer service and support sales efforts by engaging potential customers, presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages, and upselling products to existing customers. You will help customers understand the benefits of the Unlimited Wash Club, greet customers and create positive first impressions, and engage with them before and after washes to ensure satisfaction. The role also includes performing quality-control checks, following safety protocols and standard operating procedures, responding calmly to customer escalations, and using basic retail equipment such as computers and point-of-sale systems. Team members learn the wash process and equipment and perform other related duties as assigned. The position starts at $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and pay increases tied to training and skill development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the site for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Positive attitude, willingness to take direction, and professional appearance.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required safety equipment.
Responsibilities
- Educate customers on the benefits of the Unlimited Wash Club.
- Greet customers and exceed expectations through positive first impressions.
- Engage with customers before and after washes to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform accurate quality-control checks.
- Comply with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Address customer escalations calmly and professionally.
- Operate basic retail equipment, including computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Promote memberships when interacting with new customers.
- Learn the wash process and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
