About The Position
Goldfish Swim School is hiring a Team Member to help teach children ages 4 months to 12 years to swim and stay safer in and around the water. Team members may work in roles such as Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Front Desk Representative, or Deck Supervisor. The position supports the school’s mission through swimmer safety, instruction, and positive experiences for children and families. Paid on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement are offered. Each school is independently owned and operated, and employment terms may vary by franchise.
Requirements
- Ability to work with children.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High energy.
- Strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Keep swimmers safe through lifeguard supervision.
- Teach swimmers water safety and technique according to the school’s proprietary curriculum.
- Provide positive reinforcement to swimmers.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employer.
