About The Position

The Team Manager is part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team and helps run successful shifts, develop team members, and maintain the standards guests expect. The role focuses on delivering quality food and service, building guest loyalty, coaching and motivating the team, and supporting a welcoming culture. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Any job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lead shifts and direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Ability to communicate clearly and quickly understand directions from guests and associates in a loud environment.
• Job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that foster long-term guest loyalty.
• Lead, manage, and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to meet goals for sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience; recognize their achievements.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting team members.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure those standards are maintained.
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
