About The Position

The Team Manager is part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team and helps run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the standards guests expect. The role focuses on delivering excellent food and service, building relationships with guests, developing team members, and supporting a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. The position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Any job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Proven ability to lead shifts and direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
ServSafe certification, or ability to achieve certification.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
Ability to communicate clearly and quickly understand guests’ and associates’ directions in a loud environment.
Must pass a background check as a condition of any job offer.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of restaurant management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
Build engaging relationships that foster long-term, loyal guests.
Lead, manage, coach, inspire, motivate, and develop team members to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience; celebrate their achievements.
Participate in interviewing and selecting team members.
Train the team in food safety standards and ensure those standards are maintained.
Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
