About The Position

As a Team Manager, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, helping to run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the high standards guests expect. The role includes delighting guests through quality food and service, building lasting guest relationships, developing team members, and supporting the cafe’s culture and food-safety standards. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. A job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18.
Ability to lead shifts and direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
ServSafe certification or ability to achieve certification.
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for up to six hours.
Ability to communicate clearly and quickly understand guests’ and associates’ directions in a loud environment.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of restaurant management experience preferred.

Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests.
Lead, manage, and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to meet goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience; celebrate their achievements.
Participate in interviewing and selecting team members.
Train the team in food-safety standards and ensure those standards are maintained.
