About The Position

The Team Manager is part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team and helps run successful shifts, support team development, and maintain the standards guests expect. The role focuses on delivering quality food and service, building guest loyalty, developing team members, and contributing to a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. The position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Any job offer is conditional upon the results of a background check.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Proven ability to lead shifts and direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification or ability to achieve certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Ability to communicate clearly and quickly understand guests’ and associates’ directions in a loud environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that encourage long-term guest loyalty.
• Lead, manage, coach, motivate, and develop team members to meet goals for sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience; celebrate their achievements.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting team members.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure those standards are maintained.
