About The Position

Big Red Liquors is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide customer service and product knowledge to customers while maintaining the store. The role supports a positive shopping experience by working with the team, processing purchases, stocking shelves and displays, and performing general cleaning. The associate must follow company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and the security and confidentiality of documents and data. Evenings and weekends are required. The role requires standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store. Associates frequently move items under 10 pounds and occasionally move items up to 50 pounds, using a dolly when needed. Duties must be performed without continuous supervision; other duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to maintain an Indiana State Employee Liquor Permit.
Ability to maintain an Indiana State Approved Server Training Certification.
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
Effective communication using positive language with internal staff and external visitors.
Basic math and money-counting skills, including addition and subtraction.
Reliable transportation to and from the store location.
Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and courteous customer service and serve as a resource to customers by sharing product knowledge.
