About The Position

As a Team Leader, you will support team management by coordinating your unit’s activities, action plans, and initiatives. You will coach and guide a team of experienced professionals, assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage individual performance. This role requires extensive knowledge of your field, functional authority over the team, and the ability to make recommendations on complex projects. You will interact with diverse stakeholders, develop business positions, and influence senior management. The position is temporary for 6 months.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate your unit’s activities, action plans, and initiatives.
  • Coach and guide a team composed primarily of highly experienced professionals.
  • Assign tasks and activities, and regularly monitor progress.
  • Support talent development and employee engagement by creating a positive, motivating work environment.
  • Manage individual performance.
  • Make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives.
  • Interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields.
  • Develop business positions and lead and influence senior management and decision-making bodies.
  • Identify, develop, and recommend strategic directions and business positions.
  • Help determine your unit’s service offer and ensure your projects and activities are planned and executed.
  • Meet targets on time and on budget and manage results, performance, quality, and client/partner satisfaction.
  • Develop training and skills development strategies and action plans for team members.
  • Help resolve complaints and problems in accordance with the organization’s practices.
  • Play a non-decision-making role in hiring, performance management, discipline, and skills development.
