About The Position

The Team Leader - Keyholder supports store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. The role motivates the team to deliver an excellent shopping experience, builds brand loyalty through customer interactions, and serves as a brand ambassador by modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values.

The position drives sales and customer engagement, inspires and develops the team, recommends products tailored to customers’ needs, and supports operational execution and visual merchandising. The Team Leader helps maintain an organized, inviting store environment and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to walk and stand constantly, and bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight and hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs., with the ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, conduct community and customer outreach, promote campaigns, build brand awareness, and develop lasting customer relationships.
• Motivate and inspire the team by putting Vera Bradley’s core values into practice.
• Recommend products suited to each customer’s needs and drive results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Execute and improve daily operational procedures, support visual standards, and maintain an organized and inviting store environment.
• Be reliable, uphold Vera Bradley’s core values, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Support store opening, closing, and peak business needs.
