About The Position

Horizons Residential Care Center (HRCC), a nonprofit organization serving children and adults with diverse needs, is seeking a Team Lead to provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and hands-on support to Disability Support Professional (DSP) teams across its residential homes. The role focuses on leading by example, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care. The position is full-time, second shift from 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., with rotating weekends, in Rural Hall, North Carolina. Hourly pay is based on experience. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with resident mobility.
Willingness to work rotating weekends.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience in healthcare, residential care, education, or ICF settings.
Background in recreational therapy or related fields.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and support DSP teams to ensure quality care, meaningful activities, and resident safety.
Ensure staffing coverage, schedules, and breaks are followed.
Provide direct care when needed.
Coach, train, and support new and existing staff.
Collaborate with leadership to address daily operational needs.
Ensure accurate documentation, including Therap, EMAR, and goal logs.
Uphold Horizons’ policies, procedures, and values.
Support transportation needs, including driving agency vehicles if required.
