Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• One or more years of experience as a Logistics Technician is preferred or this role, but if you’ve worked in the Railing Warehouse, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Put safety first – always
• Coordinate and provide direction to the shipping/receiving team to meet customer demand and inbound needs.
• Work alongside shipping coordinator to discuss outbound/inbound day to day operations.
• Drive safety compliance and awareness with the people in your area: Ensure everyone wears proper PPE. Ensure everyone operates in a manner that promotes safety. Ensure everyone complies with all company safety standards. Ensure housekeeping is maintained to eliminate safety risks such as slip/ trip hazards.
• Train new hires as well as ongoing training for existing employees.
• Hold daily morning communication meetings with team.
• Prepare daily schedules for team assignments.
• Monitor team attendance.
• Provide constructive feedback to individuals assigned in their area as needed.
• Provide coaching when necessary.
• Run inventory reports and verify locations for accuracy using RF smart.
• Communicate to appropriate personnel any issues that arise needing for additional assistance in areas of responsibility.
• Other responsibilities assigned by Management.
