About The Position

University Physicians' Association is seeking a Team Lead for UT Primary Care Western Heights. The role requires establishing and maintaining professional relationships with physicians, team members, patients, and their families while conveying a positive image of the practice. The Team Lead helps ensure efficient clinic operations, supports staff development and performance, addresses patient satisfaction issues, and coordinates with billing and external partners.

This is a full-time position with a Monday-through-Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient clinic flow in all areas.
• Coordinate staffing coverage.
• Train new team members in office policies and procedures.
• Monitor team member job performance and identify educational needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the annual performance evaluation process.
• Ensure proper resolution of patient satisfaction issues related to the clinic location.
• Review and implement processes aligned with quality measures and department goals.
• Work with the Coder, Administrator, and Central Billing Office to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
• Coordinate with the billing office regarding demographics and insurance, patient balances, and overdue accounts.
• Serve as liaison between practice providers and office employees, and between the practice and outside vendors or hospitals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator.
