Retail Seasonal Team Lead Part Time
About The Position
Clarks is hiring a seasonal, part-time Team Lead to support store operations and sales. The Team Lead may serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent. The role includes organizing merchandise and back stock, overseeing shipments, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with employee training and coaching. Team Leads are expected to provide strong customer service, support sales through appropriate upselling, exemplify the Clarks brand, follow loss-prevention procedures, and help create a comfortable work environment for colleagues. The role requires standing for extended periods, frequent bending, climbing and moving ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Consistently deliver positive sales performance.
- Organize store merchandise and back stock and ensure proper product placement.
- Oversee receipt of shipments and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in training and coaching employees on policies and procedures.
- Provide impeccable customer service.
- Upsell multiple pairs and accessories when appropriate.
- Exemplify the Clarks brand.
- Follow loss-prevention and shrinkage policies and procedures.
- Create a comfortable work environment for colleagues.
