Team Lead, Shipping (Evening Shift)

Looking for an exciting challenge in a growing manufacturing environment? Bath Fitter is seeking a passionate and dynamic Team Lead, Shipping to join our team at our Saint-Eustache plant. For over 40 years, Bath Fitter has been perfecting its process to meet customer needs and deliver the best bathtubs for everyone. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
- Inspiring leadership style focused on collaboration, talent development, and building a climate of trust.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, handle pressure, and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
- Strong proficiency with technology tools, particularly MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge and proficiency in fundamental management principles.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety rules, responding promptly when needed, and fostering a culture of prevention.
- Plan and coordinate daily activities, assign tasks based on priorities, lead start-of-shift meetings, and ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
- Maintain a strong floor presence to support the team, answer questions, address issues, and identify training needs.
- Monitor operational performance through audits, and ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and established processes.
- Guide and engage team members by encouraging collaboration, supporting development, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Actively contribute to departmental improvement projects, technical training, and performance evaluation processes.
- Promote employee engagement and foster awareness of Lean Manufacturing practices.
