Team Lead RN - Telemetry Cardiac Stepdown
About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Team Lead Registered Nurse for its 4NW, 32-bed Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown Unit at Florence Hospital. The Registered Nurse/Team Leader provides nursing leadership in an associate management role for an assigned shift and meets patients’ care needs using the nursing process, either by providing care directly or supervising care on the shift. The role works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate timely patient throughput into and out of the unit. The nurse demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy when interacting with patients, families, visitors, and employees, regardless of cultural background. This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled for 36 hours per week on the day shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state where the work is performed.
- If eligible, hold a Compact (multi-state) License in the primary state of residence.
- Meet contact-hour requirements for licensure, including state-required courses.
- Ability to direct oneself and others.
- Awareness of nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Knowledge of the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency.
- One year of recent nursing experience in the clinical area of specialty.
- Experience as a shift charge nurse.
