About The Position

As a Team Leader - Keyholder, you support store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. You motivate the team to provide an excellent shopping experience and build brand loyalty through every customer interaction. You serve as a brand ambassador by consistently modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values.

This is a part-time position. The role involves supporting store opening and closing, sales and customer outreach, merchandising, and daily store operations. Candidates should be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.; and push or pull more than 55 lbs.
• Ability to meet the role’s physical demands, including constant walking and standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, conduct community and customer outreach, promote campaigns, build brand awareness, and establish lasting customer relationships.

• Recommend products to meet customers’ needs and drive results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Execute and improve daily operational procedures, support visual standards, and keep the store organized and inviting.

• Provide daily direction, communication, and training to store associates.
• Support store opening and closing and peak business needs.
