The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating work activities, and supporting a team of warehouse employees to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant material flow. This role serves as a working lead, balancing hands-on execution with team guidance, process adherence, and continuous improvement.

  • Prior experience serving as a team lead or informal leader in a warehouse environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience coordinating daily warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Experience supporting inventory control activities such as cycle counting and reconciliation
  • Ability to train or mentor warehouse associates on standard work and safety practices
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience working in fast‑paced distribution or manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

  • Leads warehouse team work process, picking and replenishing materials, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
  • Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
  • Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and regulatory requirements where applicable
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective action activities
  • Identify and report safety, quality, or compliance risks
