This role will shape and head the Developer Experience (DevEx) function as a first-class internal platform, defining its mission, scope and operating model. The Team Lead will build a strong, inclusive team culture with sustainable delivery practices and clear ways of working. They will enable engineering teams to ship faster and more reliably by improving developer workflows, tooling and standards. Additionally, they will drive adoption and evolution of a unified Design System across engineering and design, ensuring consistency and scalability, and translate company and engineering strategy into a clear, outcome-driven DevEx roadmap. Building strong partnerships with Product, Design, Security and other Platform teams is crucial to maximize impact across the organization.

Requirements

Led and grown engineering teams
Strong people leadership experience and enjoy coaching, developing and growing engineers
Technical background and can confidently set technical direction
Think in platforms and products, treating developers as your customers
Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable leading teams through ambiguity, turning strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
Familiar with - or excited to work with - modern software engineering ecosystems (backend and/or frontend), e.g. Node.js, React, containerized applications
Familiar with - or excited to work with - cloud-native architectures and platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or similar
Familiar with - or excited to work with - developer workflows and tooling, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and GitHub-based workflows
Familiar with - or excited to work with - emerging AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, workflow automation, developer agents)
