About The Position

Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Team Lead - Emergency Department to work in a fast-paced, supportive and dynamic work environment at Charlton Memorial Hospital. This is a 35-bed ED with 8 behavioral beds, serving approximately 60,000 patients per year. Our team is dedicated to serving our diverse community and providing inclusive care to patients across the lifespan. Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience are required.
  • Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • A minimum of five years related work experience required.
  • BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS required
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Nice To Haves

  • Emergency or Critical Care Nurse national certification (CEN or CCRN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diversified duties both within and in support of the Emergency Department including leadership, performance review process, daily operations, department manpower scheduling, fiscal responsibilities, educational responsibilities, performance improvement, etc.
