About The Position

Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Team Lead - Emergency Department to work in a fast-paced, supportive and dynamic work environment at Charlton Memorial Hospital. This is a 35-bed ED with 8 behavioral beds, serving approximately 60,000 patients per year. Our team is dedicated to serving our diverse community and providing inclusive care to patients across the lifespan. Requirements

A Bachelors Degree in Nursing or the equivalent knowledge and experience are required.
Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
A minimum of five years related work experience required.
BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS required
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Nice To Haves

Emergency or Critical Care Nurse national certification (CEN or CCRN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diversified duties both within and in support of the Emergency Department including leadership, performance review process, daily operations, department manpower scheduling, fiscal responsibilities, educational responsibilities, performance improvement, etc.
