This position is available to regular status employees scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in related field preferred or equivalent of five (5) years of Facilities related experience required
  • three (3) years experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • experience Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is required.
  • Capable of reading a schematic drawing of MEP systems and construction drawings.
  • current Electrician licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Manager, Facility and Environment of Care or designee, this individual will take pride and ownership of their regional facilities and will provide high quality and responsive support services.
  • Partner with support service leadership to ensure collaborating and coordination of the frontline teams to ultimately provide the highest level of service for Southcoast's patients, employees, and visitors.
  • Perform diversified duties involving the immediate direction and supervision of assigned personnel and activities including responsibility for assuring high standards and completion of assigned work.
  • Responsible for daily operation of the regional facilities to ensure all systems are running optimally and work orders are completed on time.
