Now interviewing for Team Lead, Certified Medical Assistants No Weekend, No Holidays, Hiring Bonus Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life. Position Summary The Team Lead, Medical Assistant will assist the Director of Nursing Services by facilitating and coordinating both operational and clinical Medical Assisting (MA) program needs for greater efficiency of their assigned office and team. This coordination will require maintaining excellent communication, monitoring daily service of staff, and ensuring a consistently high quality of services and documentation in line with Aspire’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. This position will consistently collaborate with the management of the clinical team and coordinate services to the highest quality of client care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a two (2) year Medical Assistant program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education highly preferred.
  • Certification or registration through an accrediting body is required (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, or NAHP)
  • Two (2) years experience working as a medical assistant or LPN in an outpatient setting required
  • Must have access to reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization.
  • Extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all Aspire employees.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year leading teams in come capacity preferred
  • One (1) year directly related experience in a service capacity of individuals in need (e.g., children, youth, elderly, physically, emotionally and/or mentally disabled, special needs, etc.) preferred.
  • Previous clinical experience in a medical office setting highly preferred.
