The Department of Bioengineering in Boston is seeking teaching faculty to teach a broad range of Bioengineering topics. The department has over six hundred undergraduate students and three hundred graduate students, with 38 tenure-track faculty and 8 full-time teaching faculty. The ideal candidate will have expertise in lab-based courses (mammalian cell culture, microbiological culture, microscopy, agarose gel electrophoresis), lecture-based courses (experimental design, measurement, statistics), engineering design courses, and cell and tissue engineering. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track position as an Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor, with annual 8-month appointments. The role involves preparing lectures and lab exercises, facilitating discussions, grading assignments, and providing student feedback. Candidates should also demonstrate leadership potential in developing new programs and curricula aligned with industry needs. Proposed state-of-the-art areas in bioengineering will also be considered.
