About The Position
The Department of Geological Sciences at CSU Fullerton is establishing a Teaching Associate Pool to fill teaching needs for Intro to Geological Sciences Lab and laboratory sections of upper-division majors' classes. This pool serves as a resource for the department to draw upon as necessary. Appointments from this pool are temporary and often made shortly before the academic term begins, meaning applicants may be offered employment on very short notice.
Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled or prospective graduate student in the Geology department.
- A BA or BS degree in Geology, Earth Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
Responsibilities
- Teach Intro to Geological Sciences Lab.
- Teach laboratory sections of upper division majors’ classes, as needed.
