About The Position
The Department of Art at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Teaching Associate Pool. Primary responsibilities include teaching studio or lecture classes and working with colleagues to continue to develop curricular offerings. We welcome applications from individuals who have experience and are student-centered to teach in Art and Art History. This is a pool of teaching associates for the department to draw on as necessary. Assignments are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants may be offered course assignments on very short notice.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Art Department MA or MFA degree programs
- Art major
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with an inclusive and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
- Working knowledge of historical and contemporary art and arts practices
- Demonstrated ability to be organized
