About The Position

Exploration geologist on a team with geophysicists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers and other professionals to aggressively find exploration prospects and identify both conventional and unconventional opportunities within the New Ventures Group of the International Division. Projects will include integration of geological, geophysical and petrophysical data, as well as regional and country scale surface considerations.

Requirements

• MS degree in Geology/Geophysics
• Minimum of 10+ years of oil and gas prospecting experience
• Experience in international exploration
• Experience in a variety of structural and stratigraphic styles
• Ability to work in a team environment with drilling, land, and engineering personnel
• Current on all applicable technologies, including computer-based geological applications
• Self-motivated
• Excellent presentation skills
• Desire to be a team player

Nice To Haves

• Having both conventional and unconventional exploration experience
• Experience in resource plays
• Horizontal experience
• Basin analysis capabilities
