About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course BMDE 507 - Formulation and Delivery of Biotherapeutics at McGill University. The TA will be responsible for managing course announcements, marking quizzes and assignments, organizing presentations, responding to student inquiries, coordinating guest speakers, and reminding students of deadlines. The role involves approximately 90 hours of work per term.
Requirements
- Only registered graduate McGill students can be hired as TAs
- Must have previously taken and passed BMDE 507
- Effective communication skills in English are essential.
Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled classes
- Manage MyCourses announcements
- Mark quizzes/assignments
- Organize and coordinate individual and team presentations
- Respond to students’ questions (email/MyCourses)
- Coordinate invited guest speakers
- Remind students of homework and assignment deadlines in a timely manner
