About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course BMDE 519 - Biomedical Signals and Systems at McGill University. The TA will be responsible for attending all classes, leading tutorial sessions, marking assignments, responding to student questions, and monitoring the myCourses discussion board to ensure timely responses. The role requires a graduate student with a strong understanding of signal and systems analysis methods, proficiency in Matlab, and good communication skills.
Requirements
- Only registered graduate McGill students can be hired as TAs
- Graduate training in Biomedical Engineering with a good understanding of signal and systems analysis methods
- Solid understanding and programming ability in Matlab
- Good oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Attend all classes
- Lead tutorial sessions
- Mark assignments
- Respond to students' questions
- Monitor the myCourses discussion board and ensure that students get a timely response either from the TA or the instructor
