About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the ADST 5P70 course for the Fall D10 TORONTO term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. The mode of delivery for the course is primarily in-person with a portion of additional synchronous and asynchronous online instruction. The successful candidate must be able to deliver course material in the required format and planned schedule.

Requirements

Completed undergraduate degree and previous completion of ADST 5P70 with >85 grade.
Demonstrated relevant Graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or Behavioural Psychology.
Demonstrated experience in ABA.
Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
Ability to prioritize work and meet agreed upon deadlines.
Available to attend in TORONTO and/or attend online synchronous and asynchronous course support – weekday/evenings/weekend.
Experience using Brightspace or other learning management systems.
Experience using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Lifesize, Microsoft Teams)
Available for in person, online, email and phone office hours during the week.
