Teaching Assistant ADST 5P70 Fall D10 ST. CATHARINES
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the ADST 5P70 course for the Fall D10 term in St. Catharines. This position is within the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The role involves scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time, including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration. The course delivery for Fall/Winter 2025/26 is primarily in-person with some synchronous and asynchronous online instruction. The successful candidate must be able to deliver course material in the required format and schedule.
Requirements
- Completed undergraduate degree and previous completion of ADST 5P70 with >85 grade.
- Demonstrated relevant Graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and/or Behavioural Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in ABA.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet agreed upon deadlines.
- Available to attend in ST. CATHARINES and/or attend online synchronous and asynchronous course support – weekday/evenings/weekend.
- Experience using Brightspace or other learning management systems.
- Experience using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Lifesize, Microsoft Teams)
- Available for in person, online, email and phone office hours during the week.

- Previous experience in teaching principles of ABA to graduate or undergraduate students and/or clinical staff members
