About The Position

Under supervision and in collaboration with the course coordinators, the TA will help teach, motivate, and engage nurses pursuing their bachelor’s degree on the topics of evidence-based practice, research methods, and knowledge translation. The TA will be expected to embrace learner-centered approaches to teaching and mobilize students, guest speakers, and resources to offer exciting presentations, readings, and approaches to learning research, and discussions of research findings of relevance to nursing. The TA will participate in teaching and the evaluation of students in the course.

Requirements

  • Current Masters or Doctoral student at McGill.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate teaching experience is preferred and an asset.
  • Experience in nursing clinical practice and Wound care preferable.
  • Bilingualism French and English.
