About The Position

Under the supervision of the course coordinator, the Teaching Assistant (TA) supports the delivery of the Health and Physical Assessment course for nursing students. This includes reviewing course content, assisting with student learning, participating in evaluation activities, participating in anatomy labs and helping implement the course plan. TAs are available to answer student questions, may assist during office hours or review sessions, and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment. This role involves a mix of synchronous and asynchronous work.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Health and Physical Assessment courses (NUR1 338/339 or NUR1 235/236 or NUR2 534/535)
  • Masters or Doctoral student at McGill
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant for NUR1 338, NUR1 339, or NUR1 235, NUR1 236 or NUR2 534, NUR2 535
  • Graduate teaching experience
  • Bilingualism in French and English
