About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course PHAR 503: Drugs Design and Development 1 at McGill University. The Teaching Assistant will be a Graduate Student at the Master's or Doctoral level, employed to assist the course Supervisor. The role involves creating a list of students and their assignments, grading assignments, helping to prepare reports and evaluation sheets, updating the MyCourses web page and course notes, and invigilating exams. Requirements

• Graduate Student at the Master’s or Doctoral level, at McGill University.
• Good grasp of pharmacology and chemistry.
• Very good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Good command of English.
• CGPA for last 2 years of 3.7 minimum.
• TA has preferably taken 503 and/or 504 and got minimum of B+.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.

Responsibilities

• Create list of students, their assignments; grading of assignments.
• Help preparing report and evaluation sheets.
• Update MyCourses web page and course notes.
• Invigilate exams.
