About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant for the course CRIM 3P96 - Human Migration in a Globalized World for the Fall D2 term. Requirements

  • Masters Degree or Honours Degree in Sociology or equivalent.
  • Completion of the course for which the applicant wishes to be a teaching assistant with a final grade of 75% or higher in that course (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated teaching competence. (eg. summary of previous course evaluations, faculty evaluations)
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet stipulated deadlines, recognizing that there are periods of intensive work associated with the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Students enrolled in an Honours Program (completed 15 or more credits) in Sociology or equivalent (with an 80% average or higher) will be considered if vacancies remain.

Responsibilities
