This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Teaching Assistant position in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) for the course INTERMEDIATE MICROECONOMICS I for the Fall D2 term. Requirements
- Achieved a minimum of 80% in the course
- At least a fourth-year student currently enrolled in an honours program offered by the Department of Economics and in good academic standing or have already completed an equivalent degree
- Effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students
- Punctual in attending classes and regular in-person meetings on campus during normal working hours
- Able to meet appropriate deadlines
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Preparation of seminar material
- Student consultation
- Marking or grading
- Examination proctoring
- Attending lectures
- Holding office hours
- Other course administration as may be required
