Requirements

A high school diploma is required.
Must hold a valid and active Teaching Assistant Certification
At least 1 year of experience in child care, child development, or education is required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences for children in the school or preschool setting.
Work with individual students or groups of students on daily programs, special instructions, and projects under the direction of the teacher.
Provides feedback and information to the teacher about students that will assist with the development of appropriate learning experiences.
Assists in preparing lessons, materials, and instructional information including but not limited to art supplies, worksheets, educational games, and lesson plan support.
Helps to maintain an organized classroom environment by managing student behavior, implementing classroom rules, and supporting transitions between activities.
