About The Position
This role serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Physics department, assisting faculty with daily activities both in and out of the classroom. The assistant will help with in-class tasks such as distributing and collecting materials, and providing peer support during group activities. Outside of class, responsibilities include assisting faculty with daily quizzes and worksheets.
Requirements
- Must have completed PHY 141 or 161 and demonstrated excellent proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a teaching assistant in class to assist daily activities, such as handing out and collecting materials.
- Provide peer assistance during group work.
- Assist faculty in daily quizzes and worksheets.
