Teaching Assistant ENGR 1P01 Fall D2
About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the ENGR 1P01 course in the Fall D2 term. This position is part of an existing vacancy within the CUPE4207-1 employee group. Compensation for Teaching Assistants, Course Coordinators, and Lab Demonstrators is based on qualifications, with rates effective September 1, 2026. Undergraduate rate is $23.30 per hour for those without a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree, and the graduate rate is $36.67 per hour for those with such degrees. Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate. The duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, and include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time such as preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration.

- Broad expertise on CAD software such as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Inventor, MATLAB, and Python
- Expertise in 3D modeling
