About The Position

The Department of Mathematics, in the Eberly College of Science, has a vacancy available for an undergraduate Teaching Assistant to act as a peer assistant for Math Lab (MATH 197) and to assist with grading and other aspects of course delivery during the Fall 2026 semester. The selected candidate will work up to 5 hours per week as follows: Assist students in peer instruction during class Tuesday 1:25-2:15 pm or Thursday 10:25-11:15 am Participate in weekly instructional team meetings Grade students' assignments and assist with course delivery in Canvas Hold supplemental out-of-class student support hours The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and an interest in recreational mathematics.
