About The Position
Danville Community Consolidated School District No. 118 is hiring an Instructional Teaching Assistant at Meade Park for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a 180-day position. Wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment are governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board of Education and the Danville Education Association. The position reports to the building principal or designee. Applicants must complete an online application packet with a letter of specific interest and a resume. The application must include at least three references: one character reference and two former supervisors or evaluators. District employees applying for a lateral position must also submit a completed Intra-District transfer form to Human Resources. Professional dress is required.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License.
