About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the course 'Pathophysiologie des problèmes de santé' (HSS3705 Section A) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting with grading, written exams, and assignments, as well as proctoring exams. Online office hours may be required for students to ask questions outside of class time. The course is offered in a virtual format, requiring the assistant to have access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam. The hours for proctoring and final exam grading are included in the contract. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Health Sciences or related fields.
- Strong writing skills for accurate grading of essays and complex exam questions.
- Experience with online learning programs and software (as a user or teaching assistant).
- Experience with web software (content download, content programming).
- Access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam for virtual course delivery.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
Responsibilities
- Assist with grading, written exams, and assignments.
- Proctor exams.
- Provide online office hours to answer student questions outside of class time.
- Download and program content for online learning platforms.
- Assist with the correction and grading of the final exam.
