About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course 'Analyse quantitative des données en sciences de la santé: variables continues' (HSS2781 Section C) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting with assignments, grading assignments and exams, and managing the laboratory associated with the course. The assistant will also be required to hold in-person office hours to answer student questions outside of class time. The course is taught in person, and the work involves coming to campus. Access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam is necessary. The hours for proctoring and final exam grading are included in this contract.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Health Sciences or related fields
- Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts and methods
- Knowledge of Excel and SPSS
- Experience with e-learning programs and software (as a user or teaching assistant)
- Experience with web software (uploading content, programming content)
- Access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam
- Must come to campus for in-person work
