About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the Introduction to Mineralogy course (GEO2563) during the Fall 2026 semester. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Earth Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of igneous rocks, metamorphic rocks, and sedimentary petrology obtained during undergraduate studies.
- Knowledge of research methods using a microscope.
Responsibilities
- Preparation: 26 hours
- Contact with Students: 63 hours
- Grading: 37 hours
- Proctoring: 4 hours
