About The Position

Support Undergraduate Chemistry Laboratory team in the development of education material for and the delivery of in-person laboratory component of CHM 2131/2531, CHM 2353/2753, CHM2123/2523, CHM 3350/3750 etc. Specific duties will vary dependent on candidates laboratory expertise, but will include supervision of undergraduate students in the teaching laboratory should the need arise, literature review, experiment development and design, document preparation, cleaning to support COVID protocols. Candidate must be flexible to accommodate fluctuating needs of the teaching laboratory.

Requirements

Candidate must have CHM 3126 or equivalent, third year physical chemistry or equivalents.
Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops (unless already done in previous semester).
All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify (unless already done in previous semester).

Nice To Haves

Candidate may be required to fill in teaching assistant absence in CHM 2131/2531, CHM 2353/2753, CHM2123/2523, etc. should need arise.
