About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the Mechanics course (PHY2333) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting with various course-related tasks, including grading, leading discussion groups, holding office hours, and proctoring exams. Requirements

• Completion of four (4) years of University level Physics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Marking/Grading: Up to 60 hours
• Contact with students (DGD): Up to 24 hours
• Preparation: Up to 24 hours of prep time / course material development
• Contact with students (Office Hours): Up to 12 hours of office hours, helping students
• Other Duties (Proctoring): 4 hours for proctoring of a final exam
• Other Duties (Proctoring/Evaluation): Up to 6 hours of proctoring / course evaluation etc.
